Gentlemen, I am thinking of building my own LSiC. Is this encouraged or dsicouraged here? If so, any ideas and tips on where to get the parts and tips on building it? Thanks.

just buy one... The parts alone would cost you more that the speaker will.

John, didn't I read a thread where you did some conversion on the A6?
How did that turn out for you?

It worked ok, but not as well as just getting one in the first place.

I think if I have a better workshop and more experience, it would have been more successful.

The workmanship on that project looked really good!

I'm a new owner of some LSi's with an A6 center and need to take the plunge for another center.
Will take your recommendation, which corresponds to others. Thank You.

    Buy one. Trust me.
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks

Looks like everyone is suggesting the buy option...point well taken, especially since it would be my first build. But what have you guys heard about as far as building a clearwave channel? Is this worth it in place of an LSiC?
