Need new computer

    Whatever I do get, I will def. be running it on Linux, with a Windows partition for all my Microsoft specific programs.

    Get enough RAM on the new PC and dual or quad core, then run VirtualBox to see if you need Windows partition. VirtualBox runs surprisingly good and if you're not running very demanding programs you might be able to get by with it instead of dual booting. Just a thought as I don't know what Windows programs you had in mind.

    I have one Athlon II dual core that's already built and Prime stable tested. It would be below your budget and with good quality power supply.

    Thanks for the advice/offer Sami, wouldn't you know I just ordered my new computer yesterday, lol. I will look into that VirtualBox idea, have heard of it in the past, just didn't know much about it.
