Maryland? These Thrift Store finds are driving my crazy! I think when I get back to the U.S. I'm going to search this site and take a Thrift Store road trip of the U.S.!

    Nice find!

Me too...All I find are old fisher and emerson bookshelf systems where all the electronics are in one case and the speakers attach through some funky port.
    2-channelBelles 22A Pre, Emotiva XPA-2 Gen 2, Marantz SA8005, Pro-Ject RPM-10 Turntable, Pro-Ject Phono Box DS3B, Polk Audio Legend L800's, AudioQuest Cable throughout.

I've bought about 10 pairs over the years...still have one...and I think 5 bucks was the most I paid for any of them....

They don't do anything perfect but they don't do anything poorly....albeit they aren't as solid in the bass department as I think they should be...not for a 10" driver.

A couple of pics --- I almost got my 15 dollars worth :) cosmetically about a .5 out of 10. Sonically... no complaints whatsoever.

The Walnut Veneers look like they've taken a shower & the Left Grill Cover is water damaged too.

    Definitely need some work
