For those of you that have had the opportunity to have your ears on all 3, How do they match up? and what would be your choice to have?

I have the chance to pick a set up of the 3.1's and was just wondering everybodys thought on them next to the 1C's and 2.3tl's.

Thanks!!;)

    Stick with what you have;)
The 3.1's are a great dual purpose speaker.
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.

I've had all three in house about 5 months ago. I like the

    2.3tls
    3.1tl's
    1c's

In this order. If the price is right I would get them. I should've kept the 3.1's i had and I regret selling them. Upgrading the 3.1's are also the cheapest out the bunch to upgrade.

I love my 2.3Tls, but for my current room, the 3.1's or the 1c's would still be a better fit. I would say Larry that a lot depends on the size of the room that they would be in. If you intend on using them as rears for an HT setup, then I would go 3.1TL's to voicematch with your 1.2TL's...

No, I am done with HT, my HT setup will be like it is for a long time to come with the EMO amp and all LOL.

I am all about my 2 channel rig and like hearing different speakers/amps and all the good stuff. "**** HT" if I had it all over to do again I would have left my HT as it was with the RT55i's/RT35i's and just upgaded the center, receiver and sub and put the extra money in my 2 channel rig.

Get yourself a Jvc projector with 110" screen and you'll fall in love with HT again.

I have a pair of modded 3.1tls and a pair of modded 1.2's. By comparison the 1.2's present a much larger soundstage and fill my HT / music room (18'0" X 30'0") beautifully. The 3.1tl's are in our family room and they are fantastic with music. While they are definetely less than the 1.2's they present a beautiful soundstage and clarity. I currently use a Denon 5700 to drive them and a denon cd player. I have been asked if I am interested in selling the 3.1tls but I have owned them since new and will probably leave them to one of the kids, the favorite of course;). I haven't heard the 1c's nor the 2.3tls. I guess my only contribution for you is a highly recommended for the 3.1tls as they hold their own just in a different and smaller way. Make no mistake though, they are not small speakers.
