Alpine AUX port

Does anyone here know if you can us an ipod with an Alpine CDE-100? I know it wont work with the USB, but i want to know if it will work just to plug it into the AUX port.

    You have to run it through the aux input since the usb port will not play an iPod through it as it doesn't have the iPod 2.0 software on it. So yes.
