I just received a set of Polk Audio Monitors 8T 28528 and 8T 27229 to satisfy a debt. I can't find an owner's manual. Can anyone comment on them ?

Not Monitors, but RTA 8Ts...here's a link, good luck on finding a manual. Nice little floorstanders...welcome to Club Polk.

I played around with them for a few months. They are a favorite of mine. Wonderful bass and midrange in a small package. The tweeter is not a forum favorite...the SL2000, but there's drop in replacement that Polk offers to members at a discount, the RDO-194-1. It will take out the shrill and hissiness that the older 2000 sometimes exhibits with age. I'm sure you'll like them even without the tweeter upgrade...give them a listen and return with your thoughts.

    Combo rig:

Onkyo NR1007 pre-pro, Carver TFM 45(fronts), Carver TFM 35 (surrounds)
    SDA 1C, CS400i, SDA 2B
    PB13Ultra RO
    BW Silvers
    Oppo BDP-83SE
