Rti 8
so far for my setup ive got a pair of rti 8 and ive got rti 4's for the rear and a csi 3 for my centre channel... am i on the right track?
or should i get rid of the rti 4 and put a pair of rti 8's for my fronts and rears?

I loved having 8's as rears. They definitely are better than having the 4's(I had Rti6's). You can get them for a good price now,too. My biggest concern is your center. You must go to a Csi5. The 3 just doesn't quite get you there.

how do you find your HK AVR-254 works with them?

did you get your avr254 refurbished? Have you had any issues at all with it?

+1 on the Csi5 for the center.
I have Rti8's with a Csi5 and was using Fxi 5's for my surrounds until we moved. At the old place, it sounded great. Still trying to figure out surrounds in my new place. BTW, do you have a sub? It wasn't mentioned in your original post.
