ESPN is reporting that Brett Favre has retired and will settle in the Minneapolis area where he will co-own a bakery with teammate Adrian Peterson. Their specialty will be turnovers.

However, speculation is that the bakery will close and reopen several times over the next few years.

LOL.... that's some funny stuff right there.

One flaw however. They decided to bake sticky buns instead. They will be easier to sell since they are much harder to drop

    The NFL admits officiating mistakes!

Minnesota fans can only shake their heads and wonder if the officials played an equally important role in the loss. A touchdown called that was a yard and a half short,(where was the challenge flag?) and now this... I wonder if the Saints going to the Superbowl was the plan all along?;)

Gimme a break, there was no conspiracy. The Vikings kept shooting themselves in the foot the entire game. They definitely outplayed the Saints but the mistakes were crazy. How about the 5 yard penalty for 12 men on the field? Was that a conspiracy, too?

The Vikings had plenty of opportunities and beat themselves. Favre is a baby anyways. Go Saints...

Like him or not, he is still one of the best, toughest, and most enjoyable players of all time. Glad I got to see him play in person this year at Lambeau. What kind of fan are you if you won't miss him?

Since he's the Patron Saint of Crushing Turnovers, that joke has been around a while.
Vikings Stand Behind Brett Favre's Decision To Jerk Team Around For Months

    Farve.article_large.jpg

EDEN PRAIRIE, MN—Players, coaches, and front-office personnel are united in their support of Brett Favre's decision to waffle, demur, delay, beat around the bush, and generally yank them around for months on end while they wait for him to make a decision about his retirement. "He's a living legend and our captain, so we support him if he needs to take some time to **** with us," said backup quarterback Tarvaris Jackson, whose future would benefit greatly from a quick decision by Favre and whose life and career are basically in limbo until the future Hall of Famer once again makes up his mind. "We could only watch in envy as he did exactly this in Green Bay all those years, but to see him jerk around your own team… It's an honor, really." Favre responded to questions abut retirement by confirming that he was planning to draw out the situation for months and would ultimately do whatever was most annoying for the team.

Funny stuff, especially when it's not your problem anymore. :D

Conspiracy? Hardly. Brett Favre being in the Super Bowl wouldve probably doubled their ratings! I guarantee you, the NFL brass was drooling at the thought of Favre vs Manning.
