Need advice on adapters
Hello All,
I have installed speaker wire around the ceiling line of a room. The wire is now in the process of being concealed by crown moulding. I chose a 12 gauge stranded wire product based on Polk Audio's recommendation for wire length (over 75 feet for one of the rears) for these speakers (RM7 Satellites). But I see now that there is no way that the little terminals on the speakers will accomodate 12 gauge stranded. These little speakers come with those dumb spring loaded crimp type connections where you press down on a little lever and then try to shove the wire in. I need to find an adapter of some kind that I can attach to the ends of the wires that will fit into the terminal connectors, or maybe there is a way to retrofit the existing terminals with something else which would hold stranded copper thicker than human hair?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions, or advice on after-market products which may be a solution to this problem.
