Hi Guys, I'm new to the forum and need some advice. I had a nice older system with Polk Monitor 10s, lost it all in a divorce. I don't begin to have the knowledge to pick out replacement speakers, especially without hearing them first, but loved the Polks. Are there equal or better speakers I can buy used? What would you recommend for say under $500, hopefully well under, that would be good? Beware the angry divorce gods...Thanks.

Welcome to Club Polk cobrafia09! M10s come up for sale here and on craigslist all the time so you should be able to replace them for a lot less than $500.

It's funny how after a few years, you can't remember the ex's first name but the sound of the vintage Polks remain in your head. Like they said, keep an eye out for M10, RTA11 or 15 or the SDA. They all will give you the sound.
Welcome to the forum.
