Anybody know the PF setting for this cart. I have it set at 150 on my phono pre but I can't find any info on the PF for this cart.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Did you look at the manual on vinylengine ?
I have a 160 but my cambridge 640p does not have any switches to set.

The Denon DL-l60 ($115) is a high-output moving-coil cartridge designed to be connected directly to the phono input of any amplifier without using a step-up transformer or head amplifier. The winding resistance of the coils is 160 ohms per channel, but the cartridge load is specified as 47,000 ohms or greater. Like most moving-coil cartridges, the DL-160 does not have a user-replaceable stylus. Its rated output is 1.6 millivolts (mV), and the recommended tracking force is 1.3 to 1.9 grams. The diamond stylus tip has a rectangular cross section and a special elliptical shape.
The DL- 160 is housed in a black, molded-plastic case with an integral hinged stylus guard. The relatively low total cartridge weight of 4.8 grams is within the adjustment range of most tonearms (ours balanced with its counterweight nearly all the way forward). An extra metal weight is supplied that, when mourned between the cartridge and the headshell, will allow it to be balanced in almost any arm. The supplied overhang-adjustment gauge contains a magnifying section for stylus inspection, and a stylus cleaning brush is also supplied.
Hope this helps...The Gear... Carver "Statement" Mono-blocks, Mcintosh C2300 Arcam AVR20, Oppo UDP-203 4K Blu-ray player, Sony XBR70x850B 4k, Polk Audio Legend L800 with height modules, L400 Center Channel Polk audio AB800 "in-wall" surrounds. Marantz MM7025 stereo amp. Simaudio Moon 680d DSD

I love it. But I would like to do the cap upgrade. -
I am finding 200-280 pf being tossed about but I don't feel those numbers are 100%The Gear... I measured it at 132pF on my DL160 so your 150pF setting is fine.

I seem to recall 150 being the recommended setting but I couldn't tell you where I know that from, however, my Carver C-1 allows for capacitance tuning and I think it worked best on the 100 pf setting when using the mm input but the difference was almost negligible. I have found capacitance tuning to have a bigger effect on moving magnet cartridges. It sounded better in my opinion when using the mc input even though the cartridge is a high output mc.SDA-1C (full mods)

I kinda have the fever to upgrade phono stages and the Jolida is the one I keep coming back to.Speakers: SDA-1C (most all the goodies)

Capcitance loading to an MM cartridge is as important as resistive loading is to MC carts. The closer you can get to the manufacturers recommedation the better it will sound. I'm surprised that most MM phono pre's don't offer a wider selection of cap. settings. My phono pre offers a half dozen settings and custom settings for both resistance & capacitance loading for MC & MMs respectively.

The DL-160 is a high output Moving Coil and does not respond to capacitance variations vary much (in my experiance). I was able with my older AES PH-1 to adust the loading some and it did smooth out the DL160s highs a little with 22,000 ohms as aposed to the normal MM input of 47,000 ohms though the voltage output is correct for a MM input on the pre.integrated w/DAC module Gryphon Diablo 300

Can't argue with experience.:)
