Has anyone that owns an Onkyo TX-SR606 run into an issue with a light buzzing or humming noise? If so then were you able to fix it?
It's all in the detail.

Does that noise come from speakers or chassis? if is from chassis that must be the transformer.

it can be the source.try it with another one.
Does it go up when you turn up volume or it is a steady no matter the volume you have?

I've noticed it with the DVR and the blu-ray player. It is steady no matter what. It doesn't override the sound in the movie, it is noticeable in the quiet parts.

But did you unplug all the sources? sometimes it is the sources or you can get ground loops. or some noise from ac outlets etc. try to move the amp to another outlet source.

Thanks for your help guys. It was a ground problem with the satellite cables. I ran them through the surge protector and that fixed it.

I am glad you found the problem. Most the time you get ground loops or noises from outlets, neon lights or sources. that is why I asked you to unplug all the sources and start from there. Take care.;)
