Having just done this I have concluded it's a must do for two reasons.
The 2B's are much better balanced now. The top end was a bit overemphasized before. I didn't mind it as much when I had the Denon as I thought that was mid heavy anyway.
Also, if you didn't do this when you did the crossover upgrade, it gives you a chance to open the speakers again and see if your 2.7ohm resistor has gotten hot enough to melt the capacitor covering. :eek:
