HT Amp help!?!?

Well here is my situation, I have an Onkyo TX-SR805 with 130 WPC and Monitor 60s and a CS2 center channel. I plan on buying the RTi12s for my fronts and using Monitor 60s as the rears.
The problem is my Onkyo 805 doesn't push my Monitors very well at all. I tried messing with the phase and it doesn't help. The highs are awesome but it dosen't really push the 3- 5 1/2 in woofers. Is there a way to use an external amp in place of the front two channels? What are some good brands?
I really need something with more power to push them and if I get those RTi12s, then I definately need more power. There are so many brands with over-inflated power ratings that I don't know what I should get.
Then I thought well maybe it is my receiver, well I bought it off Amazon from a Milo Electronics (not an authorized Onkyo Dealer which means no warranty whatsoever) and took it in to be check out. Well 256 dollars later the resistors where changed per a service bulletin but nothing was wrong with it.
I am at a loss why they are being pushed... I have spent way too much trying to get them pushed already. I hooked up my old box set Onkyo receiver which pushes 100 WPC and they woke up lots with mid and lower base. I am absolutely puzzled at why my super awesome 130 WPC aren't pushing them.
The highs sound amazing but very little mids. I just figured that an amp would work but I am lost when it comes to that.
I was looking at Pyle Pro amps but they seem fishy, 2000 watts for 200 bucks? Onkyo sells amps that are 100 watts for like 500 bucks. . . What is the deal with that?

Me thinks there is something wrong with that receiver to not push those 60's at all.....or a connection. Set them to small, xover at 80 (maybe run your autosetup)and recheck...My lowly PIONEER 1017 w/110watts pushed my rti8's (but they sound much better with the an amp). Hey good luck55 Samsung 7100
