New stand in play

Here it is all set up. I didn't get the lead shot in yet but will soon. The VTI stand was packaged perfectly and assembly could not have been easier. My hats off to them. It's also really good looking, far better in person than in the pictures.
The problem I have has nothing to do with the VTI stand. If you can see how the Belles amplifier is off center it's because I have no choice. The Belles has the power receptacle in the center of the amp right where a post for the stand is. The Belles is large and takes up all the space allowed but I was able to move it just enough to the side to fit the power cord in with no room to spare. It bugs me seeing it off to the left of center like that  Can I buy a quality power cord that has a receptacle at a right angle?
So my wife gets home and I am drinking a beer with a big smile. She looks at me sitting on the couch and says "whats so funny" and I look at my new purchase. She notices it and says what happened to the cabinet. In the garage with the other junk, and the response was it Pottery Barn and I like it! Oh well! I think it's sexy and the old cabinet sucks big time.
Now I have to get rid of that old TV  However I'd rather spend the money on audio than a new HD TV.

Thats what I like about VTI. Simple, clean lines and flexible arrangement.
Keep grinnin' Drew. Ya hack! -
Thanks Russ and thanks for the help and offer to help more on my electrical concerns. They will be addressed one day soon.

The new stand does look far better than this disaster I had prior.

I have the same problem with a couple pieces of gear. I just learned to live with it. Fill those bads boys.
It's a good thing you had no problems with the stand as Linda Fang the owner of VTI is **** to deal with. -
Yeah Joe I can live with it but I won't. I am going to buy a PC with a right angle so it will fit properly. Or I will have Frank/Signal Cable switch out the IEC to a right angle plug of a existing one I use. You can't see it in the picture because of lighting but its is off center and it does bother me. If the stand was not sooo sexy I would not worry about it.

Frank from Signal Cable is an invaluable resource for custom work

I'll take the brand new HD TV.:D
Nice stand you got there. -
Hey Leroy,
How are things in Wisconsin? I talked to an old buddy of mine from Thiensville last night and says it's cold, just what I hoped and expected
After a few more stereo purchases I will get a new TV. Probably somewhere in the 40" area. Then the old paneling has to go. It never ends:eek:
