I was looking at old James Cagney scenes, when I came across this from a Bob Hope flick, made in 1940

Either way, it's an insult to Mr Hope. I met him about 6 months before he passed and it was a huge honor for me to have been able to shake his hand and thank him for all he did for service members for so many years.:)

    Nixon was an idiot.

My grandfather always puffed out his chest and got real proud when he talked about piloting a plane that Hope was on when my grandfather was in the service. Said that Bob Hope was one of the most appreciative and respectful men he had ever had the honor to meet.
My grandfather was a pilot of the U.S. Army Air Forces, before it was split into the Army and the Airforce. He didn't just fly planes, he also drove supply trucks. I just threw that in there because most pilots I've met wouldn't take to kindly to being a truck driver and I thought it was funny... And not relevant, but still entertaining.... Carry on...
