Pyle Driver 1 woofers
Anyone have any experience with these? I have 2 8ohm 10" woofers laying around. Was thinking of trying to do something with them for a 2nd home stereo setup. More or less just something to piddle around with, build a cab etc. These are the USA made ones, before whatever the hell happened to Pyle in more recent years. The only reason I bought these was because I had used old Pyle speakers in guitar amp/cabinets before. Had never used them in an audio application.
I bought these brand new back around 1993-4 and never used them except briefly in a truck stereo. They have no model number on them. So I am at a loss as to figure specs or cab size etc. Any ideas?

Personally, I've never been very impressed with Pyle products. SPL, maybe; SQ, definitely not.TNRabbit

gee tough crowd!
Yeah I know these are at the bottom of the food chain as far as quality goes. This was/is to be a learning experience. Guess I'll experiment with box sizes. I already have tons of scrap 3/4" ply in the shop, so it won't cost me anything but time. And I got plenty of that.--Gary--
