RC6s for surround sound?
I am setting up a 7.1 surround sound system and purchased 4 RC6s for the side and rear speakers so I could install them in my ceiling. Will these produce good sound for movies, or are they mainly for music? Any advice before I install them?

What else are you running? Do you have no other options for surrounds, or are you just trying to keep it "clean". I have never heard them myself, but they seem to have pretty good reviews.

I really don't have any other options for the side and rear speakers, other than in the ceiling.
Tht rest of the system is:
Receiver - Onkyo TX-sr707
Front Speakers - Polk TSi300's
Center Speaker - Polk CS10
Subwoofer - Polk PSW 111 -
If you have no other options, then I would say you should be ok with the RC6's. They are timbre matched to the Monitor series, but the TSi's and Monitors aren't that much different (on paper) so you should be ok. Also, it isn't as important to timbre match your surrounds as it is timbre match your front 3. Good luck and let us know what you decide.
