No sound from PSWi225 wireless sub when playing games on XBOX360

I'm a complete audiophilic noob, so bear with me...
I recently purchased a new receiver (Yamaha RX-V465) and my first subwoofer (PSWi225). The sub works/sounds great with Sony DVD player and with XBOX 360 HD DVD player. However, the sub "auto-on" never switches on when playing games on the 360, even though the receiver recognizes a "Dolby Digital" signal.
Am I doing something wrong? I have the crossover on my receiver turned all the way up to 200hz (I was told to turn it all the way up to get the most bass out of the sub). I'm not sure what else to tweak to get the sub to kick in when playing games.
Hope that all makes sense.
Thanks

I am having a similar issue; the sub was working fine and now it doesn't respond anymore. I'm using a Yamaha RX-V665, and it shows dolby digital and a sub indicator on the display. I've tried using all the channels, but no luck. Any advice would be helpful.
