If any one is into the Foo Fighters or just rock music in general, this concert on Blu-Ray is definitely worth picking up. Just the audio and video production of it alone makes it worth watching, besides it being a really great concert.

As far as the video goes the camera angles capture the concert perfectly. It shows every detail on stage with the fog machines and lights shining in the fog. Wembley stadium is really a cool location too and the camera work really gives a good feeling on how massive it is with the 86,000 person crowd. The camera pans across the crowd on ground level and shows so much depth with everyones arms in the air. When it shows close ups of the band you can see fine details like scratches in the necks of guitars, fingerprints on the chrome drums, ect..

As for the sound it has options for Dolby Digital 5.1, uncompressed PCM 5.1, and PCM stereo. The uncompressed PCM is the one to go with if your system is capable. The bands sound is balanced overall. Dave Grohl's vocals and lead guitar are a little more up front then the rest of the band. At times the drumming seems to go a little unnoticed. The bass makes a good live sound reproducing the bass characteristics normally heard at a large loud hard rock concert, which could be a little too much at times but is accurate.

As far as the actual concert goes, its a pretty solid line up of their best songs. I prefer the older songs but overall its a solid line up. They slow it down and do some acoustic guitar in the middle. Theres a girl playing violin and the cello that I though was pretty cool. For the encore, they big out surprise guests, Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones from Led Zeppelin which is really cool. They go on to play zeppelin songs "ramble on" and "rock and roll" with just those two and Grohl and the drummer. That was the best part in my opinion. The stage is a unique design with a long running part that stretches into the crowd. The main part also spins around.

If you're looking for a cool good production concert in blu-ray I would definitely recommend giving this one a look at. It really does a nice job of showing the potential of your system in both audio and video.

David is a crazy MF and he has been since high school. Glad to hear he's still rockin' 'em down.

Better than "what's a good asking price for my vintage SDAs" though.... LOL
So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?
