    WELCOME TO CLUB POLK!

I may have a 604 or 605 hanging around in the U.S. but I'm not in the country....and won't be for another 6-7 months...so I'm afraid that won't help you.

Where are you located? NIB Onkyo 607 in Renton WA. for sale, local only. Wants $500 for the 607 and a Samsung Blu Ray player. Probably no where near you, but just happened to see it, and stranger things have happened right, lol. Maybe you can sweet talk him into shipping? :D

I'd be more than willing to sell my 605 to you, but I'd prefer you had more posts here first.

I'm not sure what a fair used price would be (someone more knowledgeable please chime in), but maybe around $250?

I'd say if you can pick up a 606 for 300, a 605 should be worth about 225?

Just Ballparking it here! That's what I would sell mine for, I think!

Well, I should have my taxes back in a couple weeks (e-file for the win!). And as such, I can use the act of selling my receiver as bait to lull my wife into letting me upgrade!

I'm already looking to get one of the Samsung LED tv's, so I would be looking to spend at least $400-600 on a good receiver.

You should be able to pick up an 806 for that price range. If you can get the 8 series then do it. Here's one for $525 + shipping.

+1 on the 806, I love mine. The 7XX or 8XX series from Onkyo are quality units with everything you could ever need from an AVR.
