Best Buy to pick up Polk

Heard about this through the grapevine. They're also picking up Kicker. They're also dropping RF.

    that'd be nice, at least to hear before you buy. I know they already do Polk's lower end home theater stuff so it would be good to add the mobile side as well.

    My local Best Buy has been carrying Polk car audio stuff for years... is something changing?
    I don't read the newsssspaperssss because dey aaaallllllllll...... have ugly print.

    What's RF? No Polks in our local best buy, so will be good to have friends go and listen before they buy.

    I've seen them in Arizona for a while now... BUT, way too high. Even Higher than Polk direct I think..............

    I hope theyll carry the MM line. I dont see why they wouldnt. Best Buy has some VERY expensive home audio gear, no reason why a $300 set of car audio speakers wouldnt fit.

    Well my BB's carry polk HT stuff I do not see why they would not start carrying car audio stuff soon. RF I think there amps are better than the kicker amps. But than again I rarely buy anything from BB for car audio. :p

    ^ Ya but places like BB know that customers are not going to throw a lot of money like some of us. The ones that have money would probably rather use it for HT. But ya image dynamics, focal, rainbow, audison and so on. I would pay a little more if I could pickup the stuff right there.

    Best Buy has had some very solid gear for years. Rockford Fosgate, Alpine now Kicker and Polk. Thats very respectable gear that Id use in a heartbeat.

    That's great, but what they need to do is pickup the Hitmaster. At $99 they would FLY out the door as a Rockband / Guitar Hero Accessory.

    Adding an additional distribution point, probably means that DEI is not killing Polks car audio end......yet. :)

    Extending that thought further, does it also mean that SR's are falling off the radar, cause an upgrade is in the pipeline? vs the sr series just being discontinued?
