A Visit to the Temple of Tubes!

Recently at the ICE festival (in Harbin, China)...I thought some of our tube guys might like to see a shot that looks like a Temple to Tubes....all made of ice..

There were no identifying marks on this.

In the second photo a disguised cnh and his daughter have some fun with some monstrous Terracotta Soldiers.

    Thanks Ben,

    It was COLD...a few minutes later my daughter was laughing her head off when I lept off the giant ICE chessboard and slipped to the ground....no major injuries but I guess it was amusing to a 12 year old..she perked up then!

    You're probably right...the resemblance is very close and a lot of the Ice Festival is devoted to reproducing famous sites from all over the world...most have ID tags...this one did not...

    Those tubes = buddhist stupas. The real thing actually have a life-sized buddha statue in a seated meditating pose inside every single one of those stupas.
