I rode a '73 Kawi H1 for many years. Still love the sound of that 2-stroke, 500cc triple with triple pipes, triple carbs, and velocity stacks. It was a beast in its day. Its bigger 750cc brother was, and still is a MONSTER.
For rig details, see my profile. Nothing here anymore...

Yeah, it can be a real handfull! lol Pushing for an 8 sec 1/4. Even if only an 8.99. The engine would do a 9.4 in another chassis. Since then I have added the Hilborns and the Mag. Also the head work. I'll add nitrous if I have to...as long as I make an 8 second time. AND...100% street legal...built to play with the crotch rocket guys.

I have bumped into several Ohio polk fans in the Vintage room. a couple from Cincy and one from Dayton. I am half way between Cleve and columbus...Holmes county, Amish country.

Yeah! My dads first bike was the 500 two stroke. I got it from him in '82. Wish I still had it. But that 750 H3...unreal....would stand up one one wheel with no effort at all.
