Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

Great SACD player at a great price. I have had one for a year now, and it is a solid, well-built player.

Update: A closer inspection revealed a scratch on the back of the unit. Not sure when or how I did this. Dropping price $25 for this.

Danz1906 is correct. It's 2 ch via RCA outs & muli-ch via HDMI.

Ern Dog, I've had this unit on my watch list for a while but still have an unanswered question about it. Do you happen to know if this player will play dff files (DSDIFF)?

I have a Tascam DSD recorder that produces dff files, and I've seen some say this particular Sony player is the only one on the market that plays dff files even though the manual seems to indicate it won't, and others that say no, it will play dsf files but not dff.

If you don't know, that fine.

    Good question.
The manual doesn't indicate anything about dff files. The manual says it does play DSD files. You could also contact Sony.
