Wow, what a view! Very nice.

No worries, global warming will have all that melted in no time ;)
So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?

I like it cuz they're actually smart. Us suckers up north spend thousands to force something to grow that doesn't want to. :)
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

Exactly! And i wouldn't feel bad about working on the car on the "lawn."

I've considered moving to Arizona to get away from grass lawns.

Yesterday morning woke up with this.

This is SoCal. Last week storms made this possible.
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

To the left, far out in the distance (about 27 miles) you'd see the Bisbee, Mule, and Dragoon mountain ranges.

Same with us, it looks like we are right there, but the foothills are actually about 8 miles as a crow flys.

Here's a couple of snow shots from atop Mt. Lemmon, about an hour and a half north of Steve. The elevation is about 7000-8000ft. Snow was knee to mid-thigh deep in most places with holes waist deep. Went up for work to help with the power restoration efforts.

My wifes parents spend the winter in Quartzite, Arizona. I wished to hell we had the time to fly out there for a week or two.

Pebble lawns are cool, I too get frustrated at the time and money I have to spend on keeping up a lawn. I also get pissed driving by a forest preserve and seeing that the grass is nicer than mine, and that grass is left alone. Oh well, when I was growing up, had a neighbor who was tired of taking care of his lawn, black topped the whole front and rear yard. Betcha his resale value went south.
