So, I've been doing my part for the economy lately - one of my Holiday purchases was the 180g LP issue of ZZ Top's "Tres Hombres".

This is my first foray into the heavy LP realm - and I must say I was impressed!

The LP came with a nice plastic inner sleeve, but still had a printout of the original paper sleeve and the LP itself is hefty!

Giving it a spin was a pleasure - it was dead quiet - I thought I was listening to a CD - no noise. But the sonic quality was definitely vinyl.

This issue was subtley clear and clean - not hot, not bright - more warm/neutral but still sonically clear and balanced.

I'd definitely recommended this LP (bought from Music Direct).

Cheers!

H9: If you don't trust what you are hearing, then maybe you need to be less invested in a hobby which all the pleasure comes from listening to music.
