    fantastic? Uhhh... never have been a fan of the sound. Even at $4500 models. But that box is ROUGH!

    Actually have purchased a yamaha receiver from this guy about four years ago.
    It was a 659, came to the door in two days, in perfect condition and at an unbeatable price. The unit was flawless, luckily for me with no warranty to fall back on.
    Just retired that unit several months ago and was looking for a replacement and checked nyc seller. Obvious to me his offerings were no longer a bargain and feedback suffered. Didn't consider touching anything he had.
