IF you devise a Poll on a particular issue you can achieve the desired results in the manner you pose the questions.
IF you want desired results from science you can achieve them in the way you conduct your tests.
Mother nature has a way of compensating.

So, you are saying the proposed solutions to global warming will work, but result in profit for somebody? Or, there are solutions that will work, but are achievable for free? Or, there are no solutions at any price? Or, you do not have any idea what you are talking about, but have no problem posting that knowledge to the world?

You should have put your statement in another post because it doesn't make any sense as you have used it as a rebuttal to the above posts. Then you should elaborate because by itself it still doesn't make any sense concerning the topic at hand.

Well said. It is indisputable that we had an ice age and that in spite of the fact that we humans were insignificant contributors the glaciers retreated. There is no denying that as the human population grows we will continue to have an impact on our planet. Shear population expansion will have an effect on our ecosystem to be sure. Our responsibility lies in the acknowledgement of that fact, addressing it as our societies develop and use whatever technologies we have at our disposal to create a lessening need on our destructive proclivities. Yes we should develop alternate fuel sources it makes sense. We don't have to jump into an immediate cesation of all things we do that got us here. We need to collectively take a societal deep breath, roll up our sleeves and create the next generation technology that will take us through this century and into the next with an eye on our environment and what will make it better. Lining the pockets of the doom and gloomers does nothing to improve our planet. What will improve our planet is more positive news about the solid advancements in our technologies, how we can implement those advances and stop worrying about those things we have no control over. We can not control our weather. We can not control population growth and its need for more consumables. We can control how we power up transportation and our homes. We need to convert our vehicles to natural gas for example. We need to use nuclear power as our primary power source until we find something that will do a better job. We need to get rid of all of the forces that stand in the way of that type of devolpment. Take away the power of all of these special interest groups that stand in the way of intelligent design and common sense. Just my2c

Yeah, it's a bit off topic, eh? What I'm getting at is that if there is a hoax conspiracy supporting the global warming theory then there could equally be a conspiracy to debunk global warming.

Thanks for the response but I disagree that there is a conspiracy to debunk global warming. There is way too much evidence that it is BS and recent events (the hacking amoung others) show a definite conspiracy on the global wamers part.
