I saw this on ebay and thought people here might be interested in it. If I didn't have a McIntosh and a Sunfire sig 625 X 2 already, I would jump on this!!!!!!

This is solid and fantastic sounding amp!!

I have bought from this seller in the past a carver cube amp and had a good expierence with them.

Does this amp have same / similar real output power and sound signature as Luxman R-117 receiver?

If so, it might be a real good match with say Magneplanar 1.6QR (?)

I have not heard the receiver you are asking about but, email the seller of the unit. I have bought a few things from him in the past and his main speakers are Polk SDA and Maggies. You can ask him how it did on it.

I have the Luxman R-117 receiver and M-117 amp. The M-117 amp is more powerfull than the receiver. The receiver is 160 watts at 8 ohms and the Amp is 200 watts at 8 ohms. You can also bridge this amp which I believe is over a 1000 watts of power. I love these amps. The one on ebay looks to be in super condition. That amp is awesome with the Luxman TP-117 pre amp and tuner.
Polk HT system 1: LSIC, LSI25 mains, LSI F/X rears, Lsi F/X rear centers,
Yamaha RX-V2500 System, Carver A753 3 channel amp.

Polk HT system 2: , SRT system with f/x 1,000's rear speakers on 7.1 system currently using Onkyo TX-RZ820 receiver, powered by Sunfire Grand Theater amp

Man I am having a hard time not to pull the trigger on this one... I have always heard good things about the M-117

Per the auction this amp sold for $600.00 plus shipping...which is a fair not great deal. I still miss mine that bluecomet bought. Great amp and it does pair better with the Luxman pre than my TFM45 does (not a great deal better).

    Combo rig:

Onkyo NR1007 pre-pro, Carver TFM 45(fronts), Carver TFM 35 (surrounds)
    SDA 1C, CS400i, SDA 2B
    PB13Ultra RO
    BW Silvers
    Oppo BDP-83SE
