Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks

Maybe his 'list price" is but did you read the ad:
"Need money for project snowmobile. Possible trade for mountain sled needing repair"

I mean how much can a snow mobile in need of repair be?

Plus he is in Buckley (population, oh 12 ppl) ....that's even worse than being in Spokane, and him being from Sand Point, or IDK, Moses Lake? I doubt he is going to get any movement..

Look to see the price drop to around $500 next week...if someone doesn't get them before that.

Just thought Somebody might want them...heck though in a case of Lucky beer and he'll be your friend for life....

Almost as over priced as these:
    http://cgi.ebay.com/Polk-Audio-Monitor-10B-with-Orig-Stands-Free-Shipping_W0QQitemZ390084427612QQcmdZViewItemQQptZVintage_Electronics_R2?hash=item5ad2d7ff5c

    $396 for Monitor 10b's with SL2000 tweeter.....dang can I get that for mine? ;)
He does have the stands though (Stands must be worth oh..$220..)

    hehe :p:p:p

Maybe he owns a convenience store, and is used to charging triple what something is worth.

That is 2x what a true MINT pair should go for.

Have to remember that they are probably the only pair in Buckley, and he is pricing them accordingly. If you want them cheaper you would have to go off the reservation and with gas prices what they are some Polk member in Buckley should jump on them before a bidding war breaks out.

If not, I have a 84 Skidoo Tundra, not really a mountain sled, but definitely a fixer upper for trade.

I saw those this morning and thought about refering the seller to the forum for info. Thought better of it as all they would do is try and peddle their wares here and the last thing needed is another crazy person here.

I totally underpaid for mine. I think I should send a check for $750 to the guy I stole them from. :D

What is this guy smoking? Must have them confused with the bigger pairs.

    I don't care if they are the only pair in a 1,000 mile radius...they aren't worth $1,200.

Hey, the guy emailed me after I had asked him about his SDA's:

I said: "Way overpriced! They are worth 450 if in excellent shape down to 150 if needing work. Pricing comes from the Polk forum and http://www.polksda.com/ebay.shtml for listings of vintage Polks."

He said: "If they don’t bring over six, you'll see them on youtube in need of major repair !

    Thanks for the heads up"

The guy is a dreamer if he thinks that he can get over 600 in this area. I got my 2.3TL's for 600 here in Olympia last November and they are in excellent shape. This was after they were listed for 1000 for a few months with no takers.

The listing has been edited to "1 pair left!" for $600... So it looks like he was selling 2 pair for the $1200 price tag

Sorry everyone that is my highbrow attempt at humor again. Damn, I feel like I am failing at this.
