Allied 395 from yester-year

A co-worker gave this to me today, said it had been sitting in his closet for about 15 years. from what Ive gathered it was made by Pioneer around 1969 for Allied electronics. The only thing besides the Serial # and model number on the plate is 270 watts 4-16 ohms. The unit seems to work great, I hooked up my R50's to it with a DVD player and holy crap this sounds nice! Anyways...If anybody has any other info on this for me that would be great. Thanks, David

Yes it was Pioneer OEM. You'll find it in the 1970 Allied catlog, which I unfortunately don't (yet) have a copy of. Here's a little info from audioasylum:
