Not really sure if you would need a second sub in that room or not, but if you really want one it is easier to setup two subs if they are identical. The 4000 would be much harder to setup with the 600. Welcome to Club Polk.

+1, you sholuld be fine with the sub you have now. I would suggest you put the money into something else, like maybe an external amp. The TSi 500's are a fairly easy speaker to drive, and I'm sure the 807 does a fine job, but pretty much any speaker will benifit from external amplification.

you are right brother 807 does superb job for 500's i 'm fine with pro 600 but i have read somewhere that by adding 2nd sub you can have smooth base actually i have different sub sound in different listening positions in my room that's why i'm asking should i add 2nd pro 600 or only one pro 4000

India, wow. Club Polk is worldwide baby, lol. Seriously though, sounds like you have put together a very nice system, enjoy!! I really think that the 600 you have now is enough for your room and that an external amp would be a better investment, but that is just my opinion. If you absolutely had to add/modify the sub situation I would recommend getting the 4000, setting up 2 subs can sometimes be a pain and the single sub option is always easier to deal with. Your 807 does have 2 sub pre-outs so that atleast is one less thing you would have to worry about if you did decide to go the 2 sub route.

    Hi Manu,
( Balle Balle:D ) Pardon my punjabi those are the 2 words i know,
Welcome, you have a very nice set up there, i know how Indian Houses are built, 2 suggestions i would give, the speaker/ sub what you have is more than sufficient for the dimensions,
    1. If you dont have carpeting in your hall, please try to get one
    2. Try wall hangings couple of carpet type deco items in carpet material or similiar which can
    absorb some sound.
and also play some nice Indian music if you listen to them like Hindustani classical or Bollywood or great yester years Punjabi singers like Gurdass Mann or ever green Jagjit Singh etc this will require quite a bit of testing, and slightly adjust your sub placement by 6inches to 1 feet at a time and see how it effects the listening levels and quality of sound, please play little bit with crossover set up in your AVR also.
And just if you wonder how i know a bit about India am your bro from Bangalore and your buddy in Polk forum.:D

Yes Manu try to do couple of other things to get the best sound quality,
and am not Sajith, but Jacob from Bangalore residing in the US for the last 2 years, just to ask you ? how much did you pay for the Onkyo 807 and where did you buy it from. And also for the Polks what was the pricing if you could individually.

80,000 rupees is about $1,735.35 USD, seems a bit high for an 807, did you buy locally or have it shipped from the US? 30,000 rupees is about $650.7587 USD, which seems pretty close to where it should be priced at. Thanks for the info.

    Hi Jeff,
It might be true, country has one of the worst Tax structures, on electronics it will somewhere 125% on imports, though the street price may be little lesser from authorized dealers, just to give another comparo Nissan launched their 370Z at $120000  (ex showroom price add another 12-15% on this price for tax, registeration and insurance etc.)
It really Sucks how we get cheated with such humungous tax burdens.
I can go on for ever.... an Accord or Camry they are considered as Premium Cars cost exactly twice than in US

I have MP2K its simply awsome to the core for that size,
only issue is, you need to really make it sit on a sturdy non
slipping mat other wise this boy will move around the house
if you turn up the volume, try to exchange the 600 rather
    than adding another one.
