How to use the ignore feature

Correct Scenario:

Someone annoys you to the point you cannot survive seeing their posts.

Add them to your ignore list.

Life goes on.

Incorrect Scenario

Someone annoys you to the point you cannot survive seeing their posts.

Add them to your ignore list.

Quote them, view their posts, or mention that they're on ignore and you can't see what they're typing, oftentimes accompanied by a 'nya nya nya nya nya nya," as well as bringing up every time someone mentions the feature who is on your list.....(no one really cares)

Some of you people that use the ignore feature act like kiddies in a sandbox...........it's sad. Hope this helps.

You have to consider than many don't really want to ignore these people. They're simply another excuse to be post whores.

If it bothers you so much, simply put the folks that quote, mention that they have someone on ignore or speak of folks that you have on ignore......well, on ignore.

This thread just reduced you to the same level as what you just spoke about.

This thread is to help those that dont' seem to benefit from 'ignore' since they pay as much attention to the information they dont' see as the information they do.........

If you can benefit, great, if not, i'll lose some sleep for ya.

I don't think I need to put anyone on my ignore list. But what I should be better at is just ignoring the troll types and not feed into their crap. I'm from New Jersey so it's going to be monumental for me to keep my big mouth shut but I am going to try.

    Oh yeah

Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

    What's an ignore?

Ignore is what you use temporarily when your having a bad day and some **** might cause you to blow your stack and make some really off color epithets that may lead you to get banned.

Ya see we all don't have the calm and logical disposition Brett has.;)

Here's an idea that I think would work for some of our more infamous trolls....we should suggest that They put EVERYONE on their IGNORE LIST. That way they can carry on a conversation by themselves...since that is what they are actually doing most of the time!
