Syncing iPod Touch

I synced my iPod touch to my desktop sometime previously, before my last reformat, and haven't synced it yet. Now I'm to the point I want to sync it again. My iTunes is authorized and I just plugged in my iPod touch. I don't mind erasing and syncing if that means I'm just erasing my music. But I don't want to lose my apps or especially my notes! Will those be erased during the sync, or will those just be synced from my iPod touch to my computer?
Thanks!!
Thanks!!

If the apps were bought from your account it will ask if you want to transfer the apps and bought music to your computer. You should be fine. If not you can email apple and they will authorize a re download of the apps and games and such.HT setup

Yeah, given my experience with iTunes, no matter what it's supposed to do you have about a 90% chance it will **** it up, so just be prepared for everything to go horribly wrong.
Assuming you're running it on a PC, that is, I hear it's pretty reliable on Macs. But the PC version of iTunes is a freakin' piece of garbage. If you will it, dude, it is no dream. -
Dangit, not what I wanted to hear, guys. I don't want to lose my notes.George Grand wrote: »

Just to conclude the matter, I backed them up and went for it; it didn't erase my notes. So no harm done.
Thanks for the input!!George Grand wrote: »

You seem to like to contradict everything everyone says, have you noticed this?
I was simply relaying my experience and the experiences of people I know. I'm sure the vast majority experience no problems, but given the number of problems I've seen and experienced, it's a piece of garbage. If you will it, dude, it is no dream. -
One person might have one opinion about a product a device or a piece of software and I have my opinion. I am just sharing my opinion that is all, please do not take offense.HT setup
