Project makes good turntables. This one is their entry level.

Great entry level turntable. Not a bad price if it's in excellent condition, the best price I've seen on a new one was $349 IIRC. If you add the Speedbox II it will improve the performance of the TT.

OK for the price, I'd opine.

Not a bad deal if it's in very good shape. One thing that concerns me is the upgraded cables, as the stock RCAs are captive. I'd be looking over that swap very carefully for workmanship issues. Other then that, the marginal cart upgrade isn't anything to write home about, but the additional cartridge weight would be nice to have for the future.

I've had a Debut III for 2 years now. Definitely entry level, but a decent performer for the price and features. Does benefit from upgrades, which can add up pretty quickly.
