    I got a bad feeling.... I'm seeing flashes of the imploding Chargers....self destruct and 'play down' to their opponents.

    They suck - I give up on them.

    Thank goodness for the Colts (childhood team).

    Awesome, at least my Colts actually have a chance to win next week. Even though they lost to the Jets a few weeks back, I was MUCH more nervous about seeing the Chargers than the Jets next week.

    Surges such as the Jets (of very recent note) are exactly what experienced teams 'crush'. Watch for Indie to run away with this next game! Jets will collapse this year...but hey...look for them next year--it may be coming together for them and NE is aging at a rapid RATE!

    the Jets seem to do well as the Underdog. If the Colts win, it will be because they were not stupid enough to underestimate them. If they snooze in this game, the Jets will be in the Superbowl.

    yeah, I'm a Jets fan, and yeah I know the Jets will be climbing uphill next week, but it's worked so far.

    I remember another NY team going 9-7 in the regular season and winning the whole shebang against a certain undefeated team that everyone thought was gonna win.

    the Jets shut down a very good offense instrumental in winning 11 games in a row this week. whatever receiver Revis covers will most likely not have a very productive day next week.

    The sad part as a Chargers fan (ex-fan) is that my youngest son (11) is a die hard Chargers fan who had a basketball game to play at the same time the Chargers were on. We watched the 1st quarter and the Chargers were up 7-0 (but I had the sinking feeling even then with the penalties, miscues, sloppy play).

    We then went to his game and they started to get blown out and they were down by 10 points in the 3rd period, but managed a heart stopping comeback to go up by 2 at the end!! OMG what a game to watch! :eek::D

    We got back in the car to drive home and the Chargers were then behind.

    My son dashed upstairs to his room to see the end -confident that the Chargers could pull it out.

    But I didn't bother to turn on the game downstairs - I knew what was going to happen - been there too many times with the Chargers laying a big fat **** in the playoffs.

    My son was so bummed out the whole night.

    I seriously doubt that the Chargers can muster public support for the new stadium they are demanding....they want us to 'man up' and pay for a stadium??? Piss off....they should've 'manned up' and hit someone to win that game.

    I went to San Diego for our annual away game with a bunch of Jets fans maybe 4 years ago? it was right after the whole Eli wouldnt play for them.....then they got Phillip Rivers thing (we were chanting "Eli Manning" to bust balls, yep, we're ****).

    the stands were so dead there was actually a blackout of the game in San Diego........I was talking to some fans there and they said that happens often. Even if they turned there attendance around in recent years I would still say asking for a new stadiun (and for taxpayers to foot the bill) takes an enormous set of 'Nads!!!!

    incidentally, I thought that it was a nice stadium, don't even try to tell me they want a Dome for the weather......
