I remember some Dallas fans busting my balls when I was hopeful the Jets would win this week. one certain Dallas fan resides here at Club Polk with a head that rivals mine in size.

oh Ruuuuuuussss, where are ya son?

Hmmmmm, who's playing next week and who will be hitting the links?

The toughest part about this Cowboy loss is it calls into question whether this is a legitimate playoff team. If the score and game was closer or if it was a cliffhanger, I could easily write it off to running out of time followed by the usual bravado of we'll be back next year. Instead, looks like it's back to the ol' drawing board. We got spanked. :(

To add insult to injury, in the 3rd quarter when the score was 20 to 3, my wife says, "They're losing badly. I want to go to the mall." Couldn't argue with that logic. At least the mall had a movie theatre and I got to go see "The Book of Eli".

    Hi fatchowmein
How about that last touchdown? I loved it and found nothing wrong with it. Some people think the game should have been called early since the Vikings were soo far ahead I guess. What, the Vikings should have stopped playing because the Cowboys could only put up 3 measly points!!!!!!!!!!!

Ahh leave the poor guy alone. I know how he feels after watching Dallas two weeks in a row make the Eagles look like a bad college team.:( He didn't rub any noses in that and very well could have.

In all seriousness, Tony Romo has to shake this "I blow in the post season" thing. If Eli Manning can shake it, I have to believe he can. He's a good QB

That Giant's Superbowl season is something you'll never see again...entirely courtesy of NE's game 16 with them.--and the Eagle's discovery that if you just banged enough and pressured Brady ALL DAY long you could 'almost' win (so maybe the Giants should ALSO thank the Eagles for their WIN!)...turned them into an entirely different team--like the Little Engine that Could! And with more than a little luck in what was a really **** game between NE and NY, they won...with a bizarre play similar to the immaculate reception. But that's pretty much it for the boys!

Now Minnesota vs. NO. that's a hard one to pick!

Dallas' first move should be to replace Wade Phillips - he acts like a child when things go wrong - his body language is infantile. I just don't think Jason Garrett is ready to be a head coach - YET. I can see him facing Kyle Shannahan in the not so distant future Super Bowl matchup.

I was watching some of the post-game interview...

Is it me, or is Tony Romo actually a better 'ambassador' for his team than the head coach? I mean, neither of them looked particularly happy in their interview, but Wade just looks like a big baby up there after the game.

Aside from the Cow-Girls the only team that the 'Aints played this season who were worth a damn, where the Pats, who were not the Pats of yesteryear. If the Queens can get the defense going right away, the 'Aints ain't got a chance. I know I'm a homer but... The Vikes are the better overall team, top to bottom.

I agree; this game is going to come down to if the Vikes D shows up I think. If they play as dominant as they did vs. the Cowboys, I think they have a good chance. If they lay an egg and it becomes a shootout, it will be tough for our offense to keep up with NO. And for the love of God, AP needs to break through some more holes and make some runs; that whole 2.7 yards per carry thing he's been doing recently is very uncharacteristic. I've bee watching Favre throw that ball around a field for the last 15 years, and being a big fan, I would like to see him win the SB and retire on a good note, and have all the damn critics and media mongers just relax about the man already.

Retire ! Do you think with the season Favre has had and his past waffling that he will consider retiring?
I believe Favre wanted to stick it to the cowgirls on that last drive and audibled. Good for him. No love lost there! And I loved seeing it! Sorry if it hurt your feelings Dallas:D

I've never been a Favre fan like John Madden...but for an 'old' dude the boy has got some resilience...reminds me a bit of the old George Blanda...the only comparison I can think of?

And on that note...do you think if Favre learned how to kick he'd have a 'second' career?

I've been a Cowboy fan since 72, in good times and bad. This time they got whooped by a team that wanted to win. Dallas played like they were in a preseason game, not a playoff. I will be pulling for the Vikings next week only because I like Brett Favre more than I like the Saints.
