:confused:Help me understand. How is a rotel rb-1092 500wpc smaller and more powerful than my rb-1080. Also what is a class D amp? What class is my rb-1080 ?Thanks

    It's a digital amp i believe... light, cool, and insanely powerful. I want to say it's the same technology that Pioneer uses, the ICE amps.

    can't find the class designation but there are a ton of links from google, the 1080 is solid state and i would think it's the class d that makes the 1092 smaller and more powerfull
