My daughter is out of room on her laptop. Her C drive shows 1 gig left out of 52 gigs. There is a D drive labeled Data Drive that has 50 gigs left out of 52. I believe that drive is for storing Vista, but not sure why it has been partitioned to have all that extra space. Is there a way to increase the C drive space and reduce the D drive space without losing all her Itunes and pics? Thanks, Jeff

Just show her how to move extra data to that drive, and let her learn to use it.
Either that or google free partition tools -
She needs to back up ASAP. Get rid of all unwanted/unneeded stuff.
You always want 10% of you HD free; any less than that and some pretty major stuff can go wrong.
Backup, make a copy of the back up, organize, and repartition.

I agree with the above except 20% free is what I always recommend. Especially laptops where there is usually not enough ram and the swap file is being utilized lots. Anything less than 20% and serious performance issues start happening.SDA-1C (full mods)

I did it! I downloaded Easeus and had no problems. She now has 40 gigs of free space in her C drive. Thanks for the help.

Good deal. I have that on my desktop and had forgotten it was free. Either that or I got it free off http://www.giveawayoftheday.com
