    Thank's Tour.

And yes, Zenyatta Mondatta is the weakest Police album and probably does only have one really good cut..."Don't Get So Close To Me"...but some of the others are OK.

Portishead Eh? I have Dummy, it's pretty far out there. I've had it for about six months and haven't given it a really good listen to yet.

Prodigy - Fat of the Land

Talking about bass, this is one album that rocks my two 12" subs in the car. Techno, but still very good. Breath, Mindfields, Narayan, Firestarter, Climbatize are great songs. I usually only listen to it in the car when I'm in the mood to crank it, feel the bass and rock everyone within a healthy radius of my car. I know you guys are probably thinking "oh he's one of those" but I only do it on rare occasions and for my own enjoyment, not to get attention and anoy. ;)

    Tour,

Robert Palmer and Little Feat.....I knew there was a reason we got along other than being SDA club members. :D

Well, you should have asked me to throw them on, I've got them all.

Bonnie Raitt is always a good choice and that combo must have made a great show.

    '71 & '73...lol, damn we're getting old!

    F1Nut.

It sometimes seems that the only gray matter I have left is gray hair! It is good to hear of another Pinetop Perkins fan. I read that he started out playing guitar but he had a run in with a mad bar girl who cut him with a knife. He had to switch to the keyboard because of the injuries. He has played with a lot of people. I bet he has some stories to tell.

    shack.

I agree with you about Petty. His singing is different, but it works.

Did anyone mention Jimmy Page, Steve Perry, Alan Parsons, Prince or the big hair boys called Poison?

The "old" guys on here seem to have missed Peter, Paul & Mary, Carl Perkins, Dolly Parton, and of course The Partridge Family.

Here is a must have if you like the Beach Boys and Jan & Dean. A group called Pappa Doo Run Run. They specialize in the music of the Beach Boys and Jan & Dean. I have a Telarc cd called California Project, which contains songs like I Get Around, California Girls, Good Vibrations, Fun, Fun, Fun, Surfin" U.S.A. This recording is far superior to any of the original stuff. I use it for one of my demo cds. They sound exactly like the Beach Boys. It is out of print, but I see it on ebay from time to time. I got Mrs 6pak one for her car on ebay about a year ago.
