I got the AI-1 finished finally! Below are the pictures of it. Wasn't too hard to assemble. I still need the speaker cable to actually hook it up though. It should be here tuesday. I will let everyone know when I get it hooked up, and give an analysis of the results. Sorry for the bad photos, it's a different camera than I usually use.

My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

    Ben
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks

Nice job! I had Ben build me the Dreadnaught last year and it sounds much better then just a interconnect cable.

OK, let me start off by saying if you are using a strap on your non-common ground amp. . . . . . get rid of it and go strapless!!!

The audio output from this AI-1 is absolutely outstanding! There is so much more detail to the music it's insane. The SDA effect is very greatly improved, and the audio is more dynamic. I am hearing things in the music that I have literally never heard before and this is with stuff that I have heard hundreds or even over a thousand times.

The dynamics of the Aragon jumped by (I would guess) about 25% to 30%. (Although it could also be partly the new power cord I built for the Aragon as well). Someone else started a thread about doing too many mods at one time. I am guilty of that as well.:(

Thanks to Raife for an outstanding addition to improved listening. It truely is phenominal. I very highly recommend everyone build one of these AI-1 SDA cables for your non-common ground amp.
