Wow... those poor people in Haiti. the world is responding as best it can.. but man the destruction and huge number of people dead it amazing to say the least.

Our company is holding a community fundraiser to send money through the Red Cross for the relief efforts in Haiti.

    Someone on a news channel, and I think it was Colin Powell that said the Red Cross was the best distibutor of their funds in crisies like this. He said money doesn't get wasted AT ALL.!
    That must be a great charity for him to back them like that!
    Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

    We sent some money from here. And I finally figured out how to stream CNN to my laptop in,Beijing...the scenes are nothing short of horrific....

    Unfortunately, in times of a crisis, the scammers come out of the woodwork. Give money to help to those organizations your familiar with, like the Red Cross.

    As a side note, I've been watching alot of coverage and can't help to question a few things. You have a country with no running water, 4 hours a day of electricity, no sewers,no building codes, and yet has received billions in aid over the last decade. How much of this money went into some Swiss bank account for these so called leaders ? By the looks of the country I see, I would have to say damn near all of it.
