I finally got the Dragon

Ive been waiting and checking audiogon several times a day for months for one of these to pop up again.The Camelot Dragon II, MK-III.
It is a dejitter and resolution enhancer device a lot like the digital lens.I cant wait to hear it and to test it with the monarchy DIP in the chain and out,just to see if the monarchy stays or goes into the for sale section.
I read a review once about using 2 monarchy DIPs together and he said using two really made the SQ better than just one.I dont know if that would hold true using it hooked up to the dragon but Ill soon find out.I just ordered some XLR plugs and D-110 cable from DH Labs to build another digital cable Ill need.:D
Any one have a digital lens or an Audio alchemy DTI pro 32? Did you get a SQ boost with the resolution enhancment on??

    I've been trying to track down one of the Audio Alchemy pieces at a price range i can live with. I'm very interested to see your thoughts. :)

    I didnt know meridian made a resolution enhancer/dejitter unit.
    Did it produce---such good sound?

    I really dont think one of these would be worth the original price.Not at all.
    First thing I noticed was my sound stage wasnt as wide.Still better than it was with the old adcom pre but come on.Maybe when my parts for another AES/EBU cable get here from DH Labs I can add the DIP back into the chain and see if that gets me back the amazing soundstage I had.
    Dont get me wrong it was well worth the money I paid for it used and it does a good job of bringing out subtle things I didnt notice before.It also produces cleaner mids and highs.Bass doesnt seem quite as deep but it is tighter.
    Maybe it would be even better with its companion arthur DAC, huh face.Dont sell it mike,Im going to buy it when I get my tax refund.
