In mint condition. Original box etc. I'll throw in a brand new still sealed carbon fiber record brush and some other cleaning odds and ends. $125 pick up only in New Jersey.

I know your not interested in shipping this, but if you took it to a shipping place I would be willing to pay up to $50 for shipping and will buy it right now.

About a year ago I bought one of these from Mike and he shipped it from Hawaii with no problems. Great TT for the money, hope you get it mopar paul.

Good luck with the sale Jerry.

Except for the square thing at the pivot point of the arm, and the two spots where it says Audio-Technica, that DD looks EXACTLY like the two belt-drive Gem Sound tables I just picked up.

Thanks for the advice on the cartridge! Yeah so I haven't had a turntable since I was a kid because CD's came out when I was about 15. So this week I go buy a cheapo Pioneer and new cartridge and listen to an old Gordon Lightfoot LP. I couldn't believe my ears. Now I'm on this slippery slope and see myself getting in over my head before long!:D

That is what I did. I found a Pro-ject Xperience for a great price and decided to take a chance. Since then, I have sold my CD player and have listened to only LPs (unless in my car of course). Be very careful, I am always looking for any way to buy another LP or tweak my system. I am addicted to vinyl!

I just put a Shure97 on my Project. I now have the bass I was missing, and the mids are not so harsh.
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks
    Ben

Which both look exactly like the Technics SL-1200MK2, which is the *original*. I will say this, I have an SL-1200MK2, and it really is an awesome turntable. I need a new cartridge for it though, since I had sold my V15VxMR when I was short on cash. I still regret that one, but may get an M97xE though as it seems to be a good match for this model.
