RTA 12 driver info?

Anyone have T/S info for the Mid-woofer drivers in RTA 12s?
Or alternately, anyone know of good replacement drivers for the enclosures with the same T/S?
(Note, I am not looking to replace the drivers, but I need the TS data one way or the other. I love the speakers, but the enclosures are too big for the room, and I want to build a new set of smaller cabinets for the drivers. I know that smaller boxes will roll off the bass. That's fine, iw ill also be running a sub.)
Thanks

I believe the RTA12 used 6600X in the first few designs (everything "B" and before). You'll have to check your individual drivers for MWXXXX numbers.
EDIT: Nvm, looks like some of the B's had MW6501s, look at the schematics stickied to the top of this forum. If you have 6501s, you're in business.
EDIT 2: You'll probably end up having many people tell you to simply sell your RTA12s and buy a set of Monitor 10s or 7s. -
Awesome! The audiokarma link was just what I needed!
Thank you! -

No problem; Stick around you may learn something else interesting. -
Why would people tell him to sell the RTAs??

Early RTA 12 and 12A (yes there is a 12A) MW 6500
RTA 12B MW6600X This was made for the 12s
RTA 12C 6501 or 6600 -

If the point is he doesn't have the space for the larger cabinets, it might be a better bet to leave the R&D /engineering to polk. I think it's a decent idea, but this seems to be the general sentiment around here.
But, whatever makes you happy, go for it. -
Oh OK because of the cabinets. I thought there was another reason. Sorry, I did not put two and two together. keith
