Audiogon bluebook price for Kenwood KA-9100

I have a Kenwood KA-9100 integrated that I've used for a back-up when either of my Carver's is down. Most of the time it sits and does nothing. I have a guy interested in buying it but don't know it's true value. Can anyone with accesss to Audiogon bluebook give some idea? This is a built like a tank dual mono design from Kenwood's golden age. By the way...no rack handles and no wood case.
Thanks
Kelvin

The important thing to remember about Ago, as a buyer, and maybe as a seller, is that average price is misleading, especially if the unit has been on the market for a few years. Look at the most recent prices, which are almost always lower...unless you have something that is just a hot item in the used market.

I sometimes wonder if the A-gon bluebook is a simple average, or is it weighted for most recent sales? Looking at the charts it sometimes seems that the bb value is less than what a simple average would be. Of course without the real numbers there it's hard to be sure.SystemLuxman L-590AXII Integrated Amplifier|KEF Reference 1 Loudspeakers|PS Audio Directream Jr|Sansui TU-9900 Tuner|TEAC A-6100 RtR|Nakamichi RX-202 Cassette -
I ended up getting $300 which is pretty good. Ebay has some selling higher and some selling lower. I'm happy and the buyer is happy. Sad to see this fine piece of vintage audio go though.SDA-1C (full mods)

I'm on Audiogon BB and Orion/Used Price.com and the more accurate is the latter....although I've found AG to be a faster reflection of newer gear. As mentioned previously, you still need to watch trending and moreso than when you want to actually sell your ****. There's much more to selling than what happened last week.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
