whats youalls opinion on the x8000? anybody have a set? evertry to blow one up? ive tried with 1000 rms(buddies old kenwood) and didnt even make a dent...except in my eardrums from across the street!

    Oh... THOSE.

    I haven't hear that exact model, but a "lower end" in that same series. Surprising little bass, until you realize that those 16" woofers are in a REALLY tiny cabinet. They sounded pretty decent. I don't think they'd be as good as the RTA11Ts that you have, though. :)

    i agree they are a little light in the bass portion! they do however have such strong mid and low mid sound that with a good sub you better watch your windows. awesome in my view for the 2 channel nut that likes to really feel the kick drum! right now the wife has my set at school along with one f my extra psw10s for her music room. funny look when i installed them and you could hear it WELL through a block wall and steel door at the other end of the school. ever see stuff vibrate on the other side of a block wall? haha

    just to clairify that was a 250 watt per channell 4 channell not 1000 to the speakers themselves...
