It's noon and I'm off to the Fontana Speedway for the NASCAR Winston Cup Pole Day.

Not a race fan by any mears, but it beats sitting here in the office and they do have dogs and beer. Kinda looking forward to it though. Should be fun.

    I experience it every Sunday from my lazy boy. ;)

    I only had the pleasure of experiencing an ARCA event and would be stoked to be at the Cup!

    Well, it was loud to say the least.

    Imperssive, hearing those cars from the parking lot, getting chills as I walk up the stairs to the seating and then jaw dropping as a car blows by at 180+.

    It was fun, but the qualifying did get boring...fast. Would have been more exciting if there was an actual race.

    Like Russ said, experienceing it once is a must and I'm glad I went. I've got tickets for the IRC(?) races in September and the Cart races in November. Not sure if I'll go to those.

    Ron: Ever go to the NHRA races in Pomona?
    That's quite fun too :)
    I brought my shooting hearing protection, cops gave me a thumbs up.
