Here is the question..it's the late 1980s, Sam Goody Record stores are appearing all over Manhattan....all their stores have bookshelves playing music...I' pretty sure they were POLKS.

But I have trouble rememebering the model. They had a transparent plastic dome and 2 or three laminated mid-woofers? Somehow I remember three speakers plus a tweeter in long thin enclosures...but I've never seen a Polk speaker like that. Was I just seeing a bunch of Monitor 5 jrs.? I really can't remember because I really didn't know much about Polk back then.

Does anyone remember this? And do you know what model Polk bookshelf Sam used?

Yes, I believe they were 5Jr+. Musicland used the same speakers in their stores here in the midwest.
